San Benito County Public Hearing

San Benito County Residents will have an opportunity to make their comments known on the proposed activities for the 2025 CDBG application.
We want to hear what you have to say about the current and proposed uses for the upcoming Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) Grant Funds.

The Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), funded by HUD, provide annual formula-based grants to states, cities, and counties for community development, affordable housing, and infrastructure projects. At least 70% of funds must benefit low- and moderate-income individuals. Key focus areas include public facility upgrades, economic development, and neighborhood

Proposed Activities include: 300K to Youth Services to Fund Youth Activities – 300K to Public Services to fund Homeless Services, Homeless Shelter Operations
