San Benito Health Care District / Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital Board of Directors Regular Meeting

Formed 1957 and affirmed by District voters, the San Benito Health Care District is a public agency that serves as a responsive, comprehensive health care resource for its patients, physicians and the health care consumers of the community. The District has a 5-member, publicly elected board of directors that holds monthly public meetings. The Hazel Hawkins Memorial Health Care System is a comprehensive network of health care programs, services and facilities. In addition to a core 62-bed hospital, community health care needs are met via home health care and palliative care programs, 4 clinic/patient care centers, 4 diagnostic laboratories, 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities encompassing 120 beds, and new state-of-the-art facilities including an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Women’s Center and Emergency Department.
