Senior Coupons available at Farmer’s Market

On July 18, the Seniors Council/Area Agency on Aging will be holding the annual distribution of Senior Farmer’s Market Vouchers at the Hollister Farmer’s Market on San Benito Street between 4th and 7th St., beginning at 3:00pm. Look for the Seniors Council booth.
Seniors who qualify receive one booklet of coupons worth $20 to buy fresh produce at a certified farmers’ market. Coupons are only redeemable at the farmer’s market. This is a one time, once per year distribution. Seniors must self-certify that they age 60 or older and have a monthly income of $1,872 or less for an individual or $2,538 for a couple.
