UC Master Gardener Hands-On Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

When: Saturday, February 3, 10:30 am – noon

Where: San Juan Bautista State Historical Park, 2nd St & Mariposa St, San Juan Bautista.

Cost: Free

Do you have fruit trees in need of pruning? Do you want to learn the difference between a thinning cut and a heading cut? Bring your gloves and pruners for a hands-on fruit tree pruning demonstration in the San Juan Bautista State Historical Park orchard.

After a brief demonstration and orientation, join UC Master Gardener, Diane Mahan, in the orchard for an opportunity to analyze established fruit trees, and practice your newfound pruning skills.
