Your New Electricity Provider – Public Forum – Monterey Bay Community Power

Everyone is welcome to this complimentary casual presentation and discussion hosted by Monterey Bay Community Power (MBCP) at the Veterans Memorial Building in Hollister.

Monterey Bay Community Power is a new, locally-controlled public agency providing carbon-free electricity to residents and businesses in Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties at a lower cost than PG&E. MBCP is a Community Choice Energy agency, a local energy model succeeding elsewhere in CA and the U.S. 

PG&E will continue to deliver electricity, maintain infrastructure, send bills and provide customer service. Customers will be automatically enrolled with MBCP unless they choose to opt-out and return to PG&E. MBCP customers will receive a 3 percent rebate on their total electric generation costs.

Public forum will be held in the Main Hall May 23 and in the Upstairs Meeting Room June 13.
