With a total of 10 games played including one loss and a tie, the Hollister Tremors Competitive U9 girls team took first place in the CCSL (Cal North Competitive Soccer League) Bay Region, for the 2017 Fall Season.

The girls, who range from seven to eight years of age, represent schools from all over Hollister and the county. Together, they were able to defeat teams from across the central and bay area region including San Jose, Salinas, Aptos, and Morgan Hill.

Head coach Jake Cousins said the team is looking forward to being able to continue their journey and play at the Bronze competitive level. Prior to their win the team played in the Copper South League.

"They're young talented girls that love to play on the team, they love the game of soccer and it shows on the field that they love playing," he said.
