Rolling and marching through downtown, the Hollister High School Homecoming parade drew a crowd on San Benito Street on Sept. 25.

High School Student Activities Director Laurie Chavez said more than 65 clubs and other groups participated in the parade.

“We have all our sports, all our classes, all of the clubs,” Chavez said. “We even have the math department walking in the parade.”

Chavez said she would like to  thank everybody who helped out in the community of Hollister, the high school’s Athletic Department, and most importantly the Rally Club for “creating another special tradition here at Hollister High School.”

Hollister High’s football team was set to host North Salinas at 7:30 p.m. for the homecoming game when the Homecoming Queen and King were to be announced.
