November 10, 1919 – March 14, 2026

Norma Lea (Lea) DiVall age 106 of Hollister, California passed away peacefully on March 14th , 2026. Lea was with family listening to her favorite types of music played by her nieces and nephews.

Lea was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin to Hans and Selma Robertson on November 10th, 1919. She attended High School in Elkorn, WI and graduated in 1937. Lea continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater where she earned an associate’s degree. After college, Lea taught first through eighth grade for three years at Adam’s School where she was a favorite teacher and received letters of recognition from students and parents. Lea then transitioned to being a Lab/Office Manager at Stauffer Chemical where she had a long and successful career from 1952 through 1983.

Lea is survived by her step-daughter Ellen DiVall and her nieces and nephews; Nephew Michael Robertson (Connie), Nephew Craig Robertson (Patti, children Michael and Melissa), Niece Deborah Robertson-Dougherty (Frank), Niece Kay Kirklkand (daughter Tracy), Niece Linda Johnson (Kenneth), Niece Bonnie Bittle (Michael, son Peter), Niece Candy Moley (Anthony, children Stacey and Dustin).

Lea is preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) DiVall whom she was married for 45 years and passed away on August 23 rd , 2023. Lea’s first husband Douglas O’Connell passed away in 1978. Lea’s family which also preceded her in death include her parents, Hans and Selma Robertson, Brother Wigo Robertson (Thelma), Brother Hugo Robertson (Lucille), Brother Peter Robertson (Betty), Sister Adelia Robertson, Sister Alice Utter (Horace), Sister Thelma Seles (Louis), Sister Laverne Jankoski (Edward), Niece Teddy Robertson, and Nephew Neal Robertson (Diane).

Lea and Jim were both members of Christ Fellowship Presbyterian Church. Lea was an avid golfer and was golfing into her 90s! Lea also loved music and animals. She was happiest surrounded by her family and dogs all enjoying music together.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her beloved caregivers, Vanessa and Maria who both made Lea’s last years so enjoyable.
