Monterey Bay Economic Partnership’s (MBEP) 2024 Economic Outlook comes to Seaside on May 3 in-person for an opportunity to delve into key insights on the economic landscape of Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties and the chance to network with industry, government and community leaders.

From the way we work and do business to the groceries we buy and how (and whether) we invest, every facet of our lives is impacted by the economy. But what do inflation, consumer sentiment, interest rates, the labor market, the political climate and the supply chain have to do with the cost of french fries? What’s the real measure of an economy, and is it more than just a set of numbers, patterns and cycles?

MBEP’s 2024 Economic Outlook brings together a leading economic analyst and stakeholders for a deep dive into the data of economics but also digs into what those numbers really mean for those who live and work in the tri-county region.

MBEP’s 2024 Economic Outlook takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at Embassy Suites, 1441 Canyon Del Rey Blvd., Seaside. Tickets are on sale now. Reservations can be made at the following link

“The Monterey Bay region stands at the intersection of challenge and opportunity,” says Monterey Bay Economic Partnership President & CEO Tahra Goraya. “Our 2024 Economic Outlook is an opportunity to grow our understanding of how regionally connected our economies are, learn about the trends we’re seeing in the Monterey Bay region and beyond and understand how we can strategically position our region for growth, resilience and inclusive economic development for the benefit of all.”
