San Benito GIVES is a team fundraising event in San Benito County to raise financial support for 30 nonprofits, advancing their mission, as well as the needs of others in our community. The event, hosted by the Community Foundation for San Benito County, intends to benefit nonprofit organizations in the region by joining together for a 24-hour period and connecting donors to charitable causes they care about most.
On Tuesday, May 16, participating nonprofits will connect with existing and new donors through a simple online platform.
The challenge for each participating nonprofit organization is to increase existing donor contributions and obtain new donors by boosting the level of awareness and engagement in San Benito County. With the partnership of BenitoLink, the event encourages nonprofits to utilize San Benito County’s news and information online platform.Â
The goal of San Benito Gives is to raise $50,000, provide a new platform of giving, and build a stronger network between nonprofit organizations, donors and San Benito County residents.
The Community Foundation has received funds to be used as prize money for donations that are made through our team page. Prize money criteria to be announced soon!
Deadline to register is Thursday, April 13.
On Wednesday, April 19Â at 9 a.m., the Community Foundation is hosting a meeting for all registered nonprofits during which staff will show you how to join the team. At this time, staff will also explain the prizes and criteria.
