The Gilroy/Hollister CHP office responded to a fatal traffic accident Friday morning, July 16 on Highway 101 just north of San Juan Road, in which a 64-year-old from Salinas was killed.
The San Benito County Sheriff's Office acted as the coroner, according to Captain Eric Taylor, who said next of kin have been notified and the decedent is Martin Herrera Conese Jr. from Salinas.
