California State LULAC, the League of United Latin American Citizens, is proud to announce that the San Benito County LULAC Council 2890 has been named the 2024 California LULAC Council of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes the council’s commitment to advancing the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Latino community.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the San Benito County LULAC Council 2890 members for their outstanding service and dedication to LULAC’s mission,” Jacob Sandoval California LULAC State Director. “Their tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for their continued contribution to the empowerment of the Latino community.
