Regional fires surrounding San Benito County continue to burn as of Sept. 11. There are currently no evacuation orders or warnings for San Benito.
The fires include:
- CZU Lightning Complex in Santa Cruz/San Mateo—86,509 acres and 85% contained as of 10:14 a.m.
- SCU Lightning Complex in Santa Clara/Alameda/Contra Costa/San Joaquin/Stanislaus counties—396,624 acres and 98% contained as of 7:41 a.m. Full containment is expected on Sept. 12.

Weather
The National Weather Service forecasts daytime high temperatures in the 70s and 80s for the next week. Saturday 9/12 forecast calls for a hazy day, 9/13 calls for fog lifting to sunny. Both days will have highs in the 70s, sunny with highs in the 80s is called for Monday, 9/14 and Tuesday, 9/15. Highs will be in the 80s.
