Youth Alliance (YA) believes in the importance of highlighting youth voices. We believe it is important to include our youth in the decision-making process surrounding the issues that affect them directly. With the many ongoing challenges that have arisen since the COVID-19 pandemic, youth leadership continues to excel despite the many challenges.

To celebrate these young visionaries, Youth Alliance is excited to announce Youth Rising, slated for Thursday, May 2, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. This special occasion is designed to showcase the incredible efforts of young leaders within our programs who are actively making a difference in their community. We cordially invite you to amplify their efforts by contributing to the Youth Rising initiative.

The event will take place at the Hollister Youth Impact Center, starting with the official program beginning at 6:00 p.m. The evening will focus on youth-driven advocacy for equity, with discussions on critical issues such as educational climate, safety, the school-to-prison pipeline, access to counseling and higher education opportunities.

Furthermore, YA will be presenting scholarships, fellowships and special recognitions to youth champions in the community who have demonstrated leadership, growth and community activism in their daily lives.

We look forward to hosting you and providing an inspirational evening filled with personal testimonials from our youth, highlighting the transformative impact of Youth Alliance on their lives. Your generous support enables us to continue our mission of fostering change and elevating the lives of all young people.

We sincerely hope you will join us in that vision by registering at: tinyurl.com/YouthRising2024

Youth Alliance: Together, we can empower our youth to lead and transform.

Youth Alliance:

Founded in 1995, Youth Alliance began as a grassroots effort of committed volunteers that has evolved into a place of love, cultural pride and community healing. YA believes in order to develop strong youth leaders, we must work to build safe and supportive schools, neighborhoods, and communities with innovative support networks that guide and challenge youth to expand their understanding of themselves, others and the belief for their future. Youth Alliance’s vision is to cultivate the wisdom and advance the power of our community to build a more equitable future. We seek to accomplish this through comprehensive, innovative and culturally relevant services that equip youth and families to become change agents in their own lives and in their communities.
