Avenida, Youth Alliance’s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP), invites the community to join us for an evening of fun, good vibes, and togetherness in support of local youth at its first-ever Friday Night Fundraiser, taking place on September 26, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. in the Youth Alliance back parking lot: 310 Fourth St. Ste. 101, Hollister, California.
The Friday Night Fundraiser will feature music, youth-hosted pop-up shops, and open welcoming space where second-hand gems and donated treasures will be available for a small donation. Avenida is currently accepting items like clothing, accessories, electronics, furniture, etc (drop off at 310 4th St. Ste 101 Hollister, Ca). All proceeds will go directly to supporting local transitional-aged youth through paid opportunities, leadership development and entrepreneurial experience.
“Think of it as a garage sale but way more fun,” stated Jennifer Garcia, the Program Coordinator and Case Manager of the Avenida program, “The more community support we get, the bigger impact for our youth.” Community members are encouraged to attend, enjoy the festivities and show support for local youth.
Avenida also invites you to show your support as we count down the days to the event. Every Thursday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Youth Alliance main office, Avenida will be accepting donations of gently used clothing, accessories, household items, kitchen supplies, baby items and other commodities (excluding bulky furniture and televisions).
Every donation contributes to programs that help young people access safe housing, essential resources, and life-changing opportunities.
Youth Alliance’s Avenida program is one of only two homeless serving agencies in all of San Benito County, funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development that serves transitional youth, ages 18-24, in order to provide them with wrap-around supportive services, resource navigation, career pathways, and ultimately stable housing. Youth Alliance identifies community resources and leverages existing partnerships to provide immediate basic needs and longer-term supportive services for unhoused youth throughout the community.
