Through the 2nd Annual 12 Days of Giving program, six local nonprofits were able to raise over $67,000 to provide a brighter holiday season for their clients! The nonprofits were able to raise this incredible amount due in part because of $25,000 in matching funds from the sponsors. The organizations benefiting from this program are CASA, Chamberlain’s Children Center, Community Food Bank, Emmaus House, The Homeless Coalition, and The Salvation Army. The 12 Days of Giving event held this year was a way to connect the community to six basic needs organizations for their holiday giving. It has been supported and sponsored by the Community Foundation for San Benito County and United Way of San Benito County, with corporate sponsors Tiffany Ford and Teknova, both years. Hollister Rotary Club and Earthbound Farms joined as sponsors this year. Thanks to The 12 Days of Giving and its supporters, the San Benito County’s Community has ensured that critical needs of local residents are being met this holiday season.
