Your monetary donations have a wonderful opportunity to be matched! This is due to our generous partners and local sponsors.

For Twelve years now, 12 Days of Giving returns as one of San Benito County’s most impactful fundraisers. United for San Benito is the keystone partner, spearheading this donation driven event. Benefiting children and families served by essential needs organizations CASA of San Benito County, Community FoodBank, Emmaus House, Sun Street Centers, and new this year the YMCA. This annual campaign has raised over $1,550,000 since its inception.

Critical in an ordinary year, these much-needed funds allow these organizations to serve the needs of San Benito County residents through the winter months and beyond. Whether it is ensuring a brighter holiday season for children, providing needed counseling or safe haven, or bridging the winter food gap for families, 12 Days of Giving makes a real difference.

“12 Days of Giving” is a community-wide, coordinated effort to support nonprofit organizations providing essential services to San Benito County residents. The 2024 12 Days of Giving campaign begins Dec.1 and concludes midnight Dec. 12.  Our community is invited to donate during this time, to one or all of these nonprofits.  Emmaus House is blessed to be one of the essential service non-profit organizations chosen as a ‘matching funds’ recipient. Together, CASA of San Benito County, Community FoodBank of San Benito County, Emmaus HouseSun Street Centers and the YMCA collaborate in this local holiday tradition, and one that can leverage your gifts through matches provided by very generous sponsor organizations, businesses and individuals.

Emmaus House Mission Statement reads: “Our mission is to provide a safe gateway for a woman’s journey.”  Your contributions help to give our sheltered families the much-needed daily necessities. However, in addition to that, imagine being displaced from your home and wondering where you are going to get your children that special gift and a holiday dinner? The 12 Days of Giving annual campaign is that answer. Your contributions give a mom and her children, celebration, comfort, smiles, and a sense of normalcy. Funds can be mailed and delivered to the Emmaus House office located at 440 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA 95023, as well as dropped off at the Epicenter  Community Foundation building. Please note ‘12 Days’ in the memo field to count for the matching funds campaign! Online donations can be accessed at www.emmaushouse.net.

Every contribution has great impact.  Donations may be designated to one or more specific campaign agency, or to be shared across all five.
