An 18-year-old Hollister man was arrested March 12 for suspected robbery of two 13-year-olds who reported being held at gunpoint and being ordered to the ground at Calaveras School by a slender while male with long hair who was wearing a black, hooded jacket.
According to a press release from the Hollister Police Department, Russel Enz is accused of taking one of the victim's wallets and releasing the pair. Police said that when Enz noticed that the wallet "did not contain a large amount of cash," he started to chase down the victims, whoran away.
Officers investigating a second robbery that night came into contact with Enz, who they say matched the description provided by the victims. He was positively identified and taken into custody. Police say that during a search of Enz, they found property from the victim's wallet. The suspect was booked into the San Benito County jail on a robbery charge.

In an unrelated incident on March 12 at 7:30 p.m., police responded to Dunne Park regarding an alleged strong-armed robbery. After contacting the victim, who was being treated at a local hospital for injuries allegedly sustained during the assault, officers said they learned that the victim was walking behind the Shell gas station on Tres Pinos Road "when a group of people approached him and began to attack him. During the attack, the suspects removed the victim's property and yelled out gang slurs."
On 03/12/16 at about 7:20 PM, Hollister Police Department officers responded to Dunne Park regarding a strong arm robbery that possibly occurred at this location. Officers located possible involved persons at the park after hours and detained them.
Anyssa Lopez, 18, and a 17-year-old juvenile were identified as two of the three attackers during this incident, through the investigation. The juvenile was also found in possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, police said.
Officers located some of the victim’s property in the possession of Lopez and the juvenile, both of whom were taken into custody without incident.
Lopez was booked into the San Benito County Jail for the charge of 211 PC-Robbery and the juvenile was booked into San Benito County Juvenile Hall under the charge of 211 PC-Robbery and 21310 PC-Possession of a concealed dirk or dagger.
