

Get your riding boots ready! The 2018 San Benito County Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo kicks off this weekend starting Friday, June 22 and finishing up Sunday, June 24.
The 85th annual event offers family entertainment and free parking at the Bolado Park Event Center at 9000 Airline Highway in Tres Pinos.
The schedule is as follows:
Day One Friday, June 22
- 8:00 a.m. Class Eliminations (Free)
- 3:00 p.m. Western Art and Tack Show (Free)
- 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mariachi Alma de Mexico Band, taco bar, and wine/beer tasting
- 5:00 p.m. Enjoy wine, beer, and margaritas
- 7:00 p.m. Rodeo and Horse Show (Reserved Seating: Adults $10, Toddlers-11 years old $7)
Day Two Saturday, June 23
- 9:30 a.m. Halter Horses in the Paddock area (Free)
- 10:00 a.m. Cattle Sorting, Dally Team Roping and Mixed Ribbon Roping Slack Performance (Free)
- 11:00 a.m. Western Art and Tack Show (Free)
- 1:30 p.m. Rodeo and Horse Show (Reserved Seating: Adults $10, toddlers-11 years old $7)
Day Three Sunday, June 24
- 8:00 a.m. Stock Horse Class Eliminations (Free)
- 11:00 a.m. Western Art and Tack Show (Free)
- 1:30 p.m. Rodeo and Horse Show (Reserved Seating: Adults $10, toddlers-11 years old $7)
Other attractions open throughout the weekend include the kids corral at the North Grandstand area (free), and the association museum at the South Grandstand area (also free).
