On Tuesday, May 3, our community will come together for Silicon Valley Gives (SVGives), and this is your chance to make a real difference, right here in San Benito County. The Community Foundation for San Benito County invites you to join us to help raise money for local nonprofits, starting at midnight and continuing for a 24-hour period through a single online donation platform.

For the past two years, SVGives has inspired our local community to support philanthropic causes and provided a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most. SVGives has encouraged ordinary people to take action, and last year, donors gifted more than $206,000 to 31 nonprofits in San Benito County.

In 2016, the joy of giving will be twice as fun for everyone! Donations made directly to a nonprofit Permanent Endowment Fund held by the Community Foundation will be eligible to receive matching funds from a $25,000 anonymous gift. On May 3, donors will be able to double their gift, helping local nonprofits to build a “savings” account for sustainability into the future.

For Good…For Ever!
