30th annual Red Ribbon Run

5K run held to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol in our community.

This year, Hollister celebrates the 30th annual Red Ribbon Run on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Veterans Memorial Building, located at 649 San Benito Street.

The Hollister Red Ribbon 5K run is an annual run/walk to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol in our community. The 5K is presented by Hollister Recreation, Hollister Police Department, Hollister Fire Department, San Benito County Public Health and San Benito County Behavioral Health to benefit prevention efforts in our local schools.

There will be different obstacle courses along the “H” route (see PDF below). HPD will have the “Blue Line” mile, and runners can also run the “Hot” mile with HFD, and the “Message” mile offered by San Benito County Behavioral Health and Hollister Recreation.  First, Second and Third place winners for adults 18+ and youth 17 and under.
