8 Balers earn all-league honors

Five players from the offense and two defenders earn recognition; one player named to sportsmanship team

San Benito High School's varsity football team recently completed its 6-5 season with a loss to Menlo-Atherton in the first round of the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs.

Eight members of the team were recognized by the Gabilan Division of the Monterey Bay League by being named to the all-league team. Those recognized were:
