To commemorate the annivesary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, all Hollister fire stations at 8:45 a.m. will lower their flags to half-mast and keep them that way for the rest of the day. At 8:46 a.m. all Hollister fire stations will have a moment of silence for all the souls lost in the terrorist attacks 13 years ago.
The public is welcome to join in the remembrance at any of the fire stations.
There will also be a 4 p.m. memorial ceremony at the Veteran's Memorial Building downtown, put on by the local veterans.
