San Benito County's Director of Waste Management, Mandy Rose, will discuss the new operating agreement and conditions at the John Smith Landfill during the San Benito County Supervisors' meeting, Tues., June 17, at 9 a.m. The public meeting is an opportunity for interested parties to learn about garbage and recycling rates, tonnage accepted, most recent estimates of the life of the landfill, and the quantity of out-of-county garbage being brought in.
