This weekend is your chance to come celebrate 83 years of the Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo. Events run from June 24-26 at the Bolado Park Event Center in Tres Pinos.
This historic event started in 1929, with four years off during World War II. This event showcases the California Vaquero style, a nod to San Benito’s rich cultural past. Our county’s signature event is the “Figure 8 Roping,” which requires great skill and is unique to the county. Both Saturday and Sunday, there will be a variety of Western Stock Horse Classes for contestants of all ages.
Watch top-level CCPRA contestants in the rough stock events and enjoy the many kids’ classes including the ever-popular and entertaining mutton busting. Guests will be entertained by Bert Davis, the Coppertown Clown, and his amazing dog.  The annual event is a chance to enjoy the action packed horse show and rodeo as they run track and arena events simultaneously.Â
