A celebration of motorcycle history

Day 2 of the motorcycle rally brings crowds to downtown Hollister

The Hollister Independence Rally will wrap up its 70th anniversary on Sunday, finishing up three days of rumbling, riding and reminiscing in downtown Hollister.

BenitoLink photographer Joshua Miller captured scenes from Day 2 of the event on Saturday.

San Benito Street will continue to be open to motorcycle traffic only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, with the street open to all traffic beginning at 6 p.m.

For Hollister Independence Rally information, the Hollister Police Department has set up a text service for rally related announcements. Text the word HOLLISTER to 888777 to receive custom rally alerts and information on your smartphone or device.
