A packed Bill’s Bullpen hosts Free Comic Book Day

Event included raffles and free pictures with superheroes. Video of the local celebration inside!

Bill’s Bullpen gave away 2,350 free comics during the annual Free Comic Book Day on May 4. While the event took place over the course of the day, attendees packed the store during the two-hour photo opportunity with Spiderman, Supergirl and Black Panther.

The store has participated in the event for 19 years, joining thousands others around the world celebrating the comics. Owner Bill Misfud also gave attendees raffle tickets for prizes like San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys tickets, an in-store shopping spree and gift certificates.

Bill’s Bullpen will again be giving out free comics for Halloween Comic Fest on Oct. 26.
