For the eighth consecutive year, Anderson Homes will donate to local nonprofits in their Giving Back Starts at Home campaign, benefiting the community and introducing local nonprofits to new homeowners. For each home sold between Oct. 1 and Dec. 10, Anderson Homes will donate $500 to any listed nonprofit of the buyer’s choice.

“I know BenitoLink, and all the nonprofits Anderson Homes supports appreciate being introduced to new home buyers,” said BenitoLink Executive Director Leslie David. “Through this program, Anderson Homes is helping residents learn about and connect with four important but very different local nonprofits that serve this community.”

Anderson Homes selected four San Benito County nonprofits for Giving Back Starts at Home:

“We appreciate being on their list because it helps fund the news, features, events calendar and community opinion articles we run on a daily basis,” David said. “This donation comes in as general funds, with no editorial input and that means we can publish more of the reporting and local stories residents enjoy.”

Anderson Homes also selected three Los Banos nonprofits to participate in the promotion: Friends of Los Banos Public Library, Los Banos Volunteer Fire Department and Los Banos Police Activities League.

The Anderson Homes website lists the Highlands and the Cottages at Santana Ranch in Hollister as well as Westbrook in Los Banos.

The BenitoLink Internship Program is a paid, skill-building program that prepares local youth for a professional career. This program is supported by Monterey Peninsula Foundation AT&T Golf Tour and Taylor Farms.
