Annual VFW Easter egg hunt Saturday

VFW-sponsored event at Vets' Park is open to children ages 2 to 10 years old

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9242 and The VFW Auxiliary will present their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park in Hollister.

There will be three age groups for the hunt:

  •  2-4 years old
  • 5-7 years old
  • 8-10 years old

There will be some special eggs in the hunting area that can be redeemed for prizes. Only parents of the 2- to 4-year-olds will be allowed in the hunt area.

Children that do not find any eggs will be able to get some from the command post. American Legion Post 69 is providing special prize baskets.

Designated areas will be set up for parking.
