On Saturday April 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 am,The Hollister Downtown Association (HDA) hosted the annual Downtown Spring Clean-Up.
Over 150 community members brought their brooms, clippers, and gloves and came together to clean every block of the Downtown District.
Individuals and groups worked simultaneously cleaning the sidewalks, gutters, and planter boxes from Third Street down past South Street. Some of the groups that joined the clean-up were South Valley Community Church Hollister, Sprig Electric, San Benito County Arts Council, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, local Boy and Girl Scout troops, and many more.
Thanks to the hard work of many volunteers from the community, downtown Hollister is in tip-top shape.
This event was sponsored by Recology of San Benito County and Central Ag Supply.
