The Tea Party California Caucus (TPCC) started to coalesce into a loose group about a year ago.  The second state-wide meeting was held in Fresno on January 11, 2014. There were about 160 individuals present.  Attendees ranged from San Diego to northern California.

The following statement was taken from the TPCC web page (here):

"We are a coalition of Tea Party leaders throughout California dedicated to taking action to restore the centrality of constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets as guiding principles of the California Republican Party."

Although TPCC will be trying to restore the state Republican party, local tea parties are encouraged to be active in local, non-partisan elections supporting candidates that support free-market principals, fiscal responsibility, and limited government, regardless of political affiliation.

Are you interested in a Tea Party on April 15, 2014 similar to the ones in 2009 and 2010?  This would be an unorganized get-together from, say 3:00 to 5:30 or 6:00 pm on the corner of San Benito Street and Fourth Street in Hollister.  The late hour would allow individuals to stop by after work.  What are your thoughts?
