Arts Council celebrates 3rd Annual Children’s Art Auction

San Benito County Arts Council presents the 3rd annual "Children's Art Auction" to benefit Arts Education in SBC

The San Benito County Arts Council invites families, residents and art supporters to our 3rd annual “Children’s Art Auction” from 6-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6 at the Mars Hill Coffeehouse 610 San Benito St. in downtown Hollister, featuring artwork from eight local preschools as well as music and light refreshments.

Students, teachers and staff from Little Baler, Meadowlark, Methodist, Paddington, Presbyterian Co-Op, Spring Grove, Sunnyslope and Calaveras preschools have been working hard over the last few weeks to create collaborative works of art based on their studies of famous artists. This project, and learning through the arts, foster creative thinking, fine motor skills and a sense of pride and accomplishment in our youngest learners.

Come celebrate the students’ artwork and achievement by joining us on Feb. 6  All artwork will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the San Benito County Arts Council’s Pre-K Art Program.

This program is part of the San Benito County Arts Council’s mission to promote art and culture in San Benito County and is made possible by Hollister Rotary, California Arts Council, Community Foundation for San Benito County and Monterey Peninsula Foundation.
