The public is invited to visit ARTspace at 240 Fifth St. in Hollister from April 3 to May 28 to enjoy a sneak peek at the San Benito County Arts Council’s 2015 Open Studios Art Tour. The Open Studios Preview Exhibition features the work of 29 artists, including works in painting, pottery, photography, glasswork and more.  A special kickoff party will be held at ARTspace from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 10. The event is free and open to the public and is an opportunity for visitors to view the artwork, enjoy food and drinks and celebrate this year’s group of talented, dynamic artists

The Open Studios Preview Exhibition will be followed by the two-day Open Studios Art Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, which takes place at artists’ studios throughout San Benito County.  A map of the artists’ studios and the artist directory can be viewed or downloaded online at www.sanbenitoarts.org  Residents and tourists are also encouraged to “like” the Arts Council on Facebook, where they can receive up-to-date information on this year’s tour, as well as interesting tidbits and anecdotes about Open Studios artists.
