The San Francisco Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearmss and Explosives (ATF) this week announced a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the Dec. 8, 2013 arson at the Dollar Tree on Tres Pinos Road in Hollister.

ATF was contacted by the Hollister Police Department when the fire scene was determined to be a crime scene. It was discovered that the safe in the Dollar Tree office had a "significant amont of money missing," according to an ATF press release.

The San Jose ATF field office is working with Hollister police and fire officials on the case. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 1-888-ATF-FIRE. All information will be treated confidentially and the callers will remain anonymous if they request. ATF is the federal agency with jurisdiction for investigating criminal activities involving arsons.
