Historian Krista Van Laan on Aug. 16 will return to the San Benito County Historical Society Museum to discuss her new book Wolfe & Higgins, Master Architects of the Spanish Revival.

Father and son architects Frank Wolfe and Carl Wolfe joined with Ernest Higgins in the 1920s to become the leading designer of Spanish Revival style homes and public buildings in San Benito and Santa Clara counties. Van Laan will share her knowledge about Wolfe and Higgins and the many homes and buildings they designed locally.

This is a return visit for Krista, who previously spoke to the San Benito County Historical Society about her book California Prairie Architecture, which focused on the work of Frank Wolfe. This book included many local buildings including the original Tres Pinos School.
