Baler girls’ soccer to host alumni game

Annual event reunites former players and raises money to help purchase warm-ups, equipment, league patches and other training and cover other team expenses

The San Benito High School girls' soccer program will hold its annual alumni game on campus on Dec. 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Former players are encouraged to participate in the event by filling out the attached release form (see below story) and paying the $20 fee, which includes an official alumni T-shirt/uniform and a chance to relive their glory days.

An admittance fee of $5 will be charged at the game for anyone who is not currently an SBHS student, staff member or alumni team player. In place of the gate fee, you may bring three cans for food instead.

The girls' soccer program will be donating that food to the local food pantry on the Saturday following the game. All money raised during the event will go directly to the girls' soccer program to assist with the cost of warm-ups, equipment, league patches and other training and team expenses.

Liability forms and money must be received by Monday, Nov. 27. Questions? Email Coach Becky Bonner-Leland at [email protected]
