Another blaze began Tuesday, June 12 in San Benito County.
Known as the Beaver Fire, the blaze is located off Coalinga Highway and Airline Highway to the east of King City.
According to CalFire, 215Â acres have burned. The Beaver Fire is 100Â percent contained as of Thursday, June 21.
The Beaver Fire is the latest in a recent string of wildfires to hit San Benito County. Last week, the Panoche Fire, Eastern Fire, and Airline Fire ignited in the southern portions of the county. All three of the previous fires were contained, but not before burning 64 acres (Panoche), 513 acres (Eastern), and 1,314 acres (Airline), respectively. Both the Eastern Fire and Airline Fire were located off Coalinga.Â
The fire started at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, June 12. Cause of the Beaver Fire is under investigation. Calfire told BenitoLink no structures have been threatened and no roads have been closed. There is no current evacuation in place.
