BenitoLink hosted a successful event last Saturday evening to launch it’s new website dedicated to connecting the community through local news and information. The energy downtown was already bubbling with excitement as the launch party kicked off, with a start immediately following the Wine & Beer Stroll. Many guests were captured in photo on the red carpet before entering the Blak Sage Gallery, where the event was held.
Once inside the gallery, a dynamic group of ever-changing guests enjoyed mingling amongst a range of landscape artwork while lively music played. Chocolate dipped strawberries, chicken satay and stuffed mushrooms were some of the gourmet fare by Thyme Catering that were paired with tasty glasses of wine.
The evening was attended by a diverse crowd and many local BenitoLink enthusiasts including Phil & Vicki Fortino, Stephen Hudner and Kathy Sheridan to name a few. In addition, members of the Community Foundation for San Benito County came to show support including Julie Morris, Gary Byrne and Paul Levy.
The highlight of the evening was an introductory speech given in the form of a song, by Content Director and musician Bob Reid followed by a drawing for a Samsung Tablet won by San Benito Stage Company.
