BenitoLink.com supporters have donated $8,830 in the first three weeks of the “Pledge of Champions” fundraiser. Every dollar donated will be matched up to $20,000 thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation for San Benito County.
BenitoLink is a community-based website. That means it is up to all of us to help it become the best it can be. With your help, we will continue to expand our coverage of government meetings, news, special reports and features. Today, we are lucky to have gathered a group of talented journalists such as Adam Breen, John Chadwell, Harvey Barkin, Frank Perez, and Leslie David, photographer Lisa Robinson and commentators Marty Richman, Luis Burguillo, Lois Locci and Mike Smith. BenitoLink is a place for community conversation. Over this past year, many BenitoLink users have presented ideas and revealed new answers to old questions. The BenitoLink team is proud of the interchange happening on the website and we are delighted when we hear from all corners of our county.

Did you know that nearly half of us hit the highway and leave the county heading to work each day? Our commuters have a lot to contribute and we want to hear from you, if you are one of them. Our mission is to give everyone a place to tell their story and learn what is happening in their town or district. With busy lives and differing perspectives, BenitoLink, (as well as our Twitter and Facebook pages), is a place we can meet-up and discover what we have in common.
