The Cal Poly graduate students who are implementing Cal Poly’s contract to update the City’s General Plan will be in San Juan Bautista this Sunday with their “Plan Van”.
The “Plan Van” is an outreach strategy to reach those who were unable to attend the first community meeting for input into the General Plan Update. It will pose the same questions as asked in the first community meeting but can be parked in key locations around town.
“What are the strengths of San Juan Bautista?”
“What is holding San Juan back?”
“What could help San Juan Bautista achieve its full potential?”
The mobile Plan Van is a strategy which has not been used in San Benito County before and it is hoped that it will be able to collect information from those who have not been involved in the past.
The next Community Meeting will be held Tuesday, November 12, at the San Juan Community Center from 6:00 to 8:00pm
