Giving Back to the Community
California Mutual Insurance made a donation on March 6, 2013 to the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation in Honor of Our Loyal Policyholders, according to Juli Vieira, Business Development Manager for the company.
CMIC realized that a majority of their policyholder-members have been with the company 5 years or more, with many for over twenty years and longer. A decision was made to do something special in their honor.
The Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation was selected as the recipient since it benefits the entire community. California Mutual Insurance has policyholders from all over California, but the majority of their longtime members are from San Benito County and the surrounding areas. With the help and co-operation of Leah Dowty from the Foundation a special thank you was mailed to each policyholder acknowledging the donation in their honor. Funds donated to the Foundation help support projects and needed equipment purchases for the hospital.
