Adrian Castillo organized the Father’s Day Car Show that took place June 16 at Santana Ranch Park in Hollister. The event took place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. About five cars were showcased in the event.

The 4th Annual Car Blessing event also took place that day in downtown Hollister on San Benito Street. The event started at 11 a.m. and was scheduled to end 5 p.m. Father Rudy blessed the participating vehicles.

Matthew Gomez, organizer and Hollister’s Only the Honorable Tattoos, said the event is meant to bless lowrider cars so they can have a year of safe traveling, cruising and shows.
