“This really isn’t really a fundraiser. It’s just a fun night,” said San Benito County CattleWoman, Cheri Holliday, who provided photos and information afterwards. Despite being planned more as a social occasion, it brought in funds due to high attendance.

The Nov. 20  paint party at Paines Restaurant had over 50 CattleWomen members and their guests creating and conversing throughout the evening.

For the second year, ArtiCulture gave tips on painting, this time creating small wooden signs of all kinds, mostly for the holidays.

Holiday said earnings from the evening are used in the general fund to support other San Benito CattleWomen events like the Beef Rate of Gain contest at the San Benito County Fair, Farm Day, to purchase meat for the Farm Bureau Golf Tournament and for Ag in the Classroom.
