In 2017, “The Guide” San Benito County was distributed throughout California including over 200 hotels, businesses, state and national parks along with San Jose, Oakland and Monterey Airports. They were also delivered to Pier 39 in San Francisco and California Welcome Centers. The Chamber printed 10,000 copies of visitor and business guide last year and intends to print a lot more in 2018.
The Chamber estimates over 40,000 individuals have read the printed guide with many others viewing the online flipbook at www.discoversanbenitocounty.com, the chamber website and other online locations.
The Chamber has also handed them out at the San Francisco Bay Area Travel Show, San Benito County Fair, San Benito Olive Festival, Hollister Street Festival, Pinnacles National Park, Hollister Hills SVRA, job fairs and many other locations in San Benito County.
These resource guides are being used by local realtors during open houses, home sales and for relocation packages.
After the production of the 2017 guide, the chamber staff is eager to start working on the 2018 version. The 2018 guide will include local stories about businesses, history, our unique landscape, and insight into an area where you can live, work, stay & play.
