Dear San Benito County Residents,

As we continue to improve the services provided by the Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters Office, I’m reaching out to you with something that’s very important to me. We’re sending out surveys to local businesses, professionals, and everyone who regularly interacts with our office, and I’d love for you to take part.

Your feedback is crucial as we work to ensure we’re meeting your needs and making improvements where necessary. Whether it’s how efficient our services are, how easy it is for you to access them, or how helpful our customer support is, we want to hear from you. This survey will help us understand what we’re doing well and where we can do better. Your input will shape the way we move forward.

In talking with voters back in 2022, a conversation around rural voting in Tres Pinos and Aromas really stood out. Thanks to those discussions, we introduced mobile voting in 2024. It’s moments like these when we listen and learn from you that help us identify opportunities we might have missed otherwise. This survey is another step in that ongoing conversation, and we truly want to hear what’s on your mind.

As I enter my third year as your elected County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters, I know how important it is to take the time to regularly assess how we’re doing. Change and growth are key, and your feedback helps us make sure we’re heading in the right direction. This survey isn’t just a tool for gathering thoughts, it’s an important part of understanding what matters most to you and where we can focus our efforts moving forward.

On top of seeking ways to improve our services, this survey is especially important because we may be facing budget cuts in the near future, as many county departments are. That’s why it’s so essential that we evaluate how we can improve while still maintaining the high standards of service that you deserve. Your feedback will help us determine how to streamline our operations, work more efficiently, and continue serving you even when times are financially challenging.

Once the survey results are in, we’ll carefully review them to make sure we’re making decisions that truly reflect what you, our community, need. Your voice matters, and your feedback will guide us in the improvements we make as we continue our work.
