I’ve started my tenure as the newest trustee for Gavilan Joint Community College District. Your votes, combined with votes in Santa Clara County, gave me a respectable margin in a race of three candidates for two seats.
President Steve Kinsella and fellow trustees graciously welcomed me as I participated in my first board meeting early December. Board President Walter Glines provided a first mentoring session. More formal training starts in January 2015.
