I am extremely disappointed to see that Robert Rivas, our CA Assembly representative in Sacramento, voted for Senate Bill 24 last Friday the 13th. Seven of his constituents went to meet him at the Capitol, spoke passionately about all the reasons why we opposed this bill, and delivered 1,500-2,000 letters of opposition from our area citizens, and he still voted for it.

Senate Bill 24 mandates that chemical abortion pills be supplied and available in all 34 of our taxpayer-subsidized state universities. It also provides monies to be paid directly to Planned Parenthood, which is currently involved in an investigation where Planned Parenthood admitted selling fetal tissue parts.

Time to find different representation?
