Local photographer Don Smith captured this baby condor on a photo shoot recently. Here's his description:
I decided to go bird hunting late yesterday afternoon (with my camera of course)! There are currently (7) California Condors nesting at Pinnacles National Park and I was fortunate to be able to spot and photograph (5) of them, including this guy near sunset. Of course I forgot my head lamp and had to hike off the high peaks back to my car in the dark!
