The San Benito County Free Library is pleased to announce the debut of Universal Class, an electronic resource presented in partnership with Recorded Books that offers continuing education courses online.  Designed for public library patrons, Universal Class features a catalog of more than 500 courses containing a little something for everyone.

Among the hundreds of offerings included are those in Computers and Technology, Job Assistance, Parenting and Family, Cooking, Home and Garden Care, Homeschooling, Pet and Animal Care, and Exercise and Fitness. These classes are led by real instructors and are video-based, and students can even obtain certificates and continuing education credits for selected courses.

Patrons only need a library card to access Universal Class, and since these classes are offered online, they can be enjoyed from the comforts of one’s own home. Universal Class can be accessed through the library’s Articles & Databases page at http://sbcfl.org/research/, but patrons are also encouraged to speak with the friendly staff at the San Benito County Free Library if they would like more information on this new resource.

Interested patrons can also call the library at (831) 636-4107 or send an email to [email protected]
