With planning well underway for the 93rd annual San Benito County Fair, the board of the 33rd District Agricultural Association invites the community to participate in the selection of the 2015 fair theme by submitting theme ideas.
Visit the San Benito County Fair Facebook page, become a friend, and submit your ideas for consideration by Jan. 6. The winning theme will be chosen by the Fair Board, and the winner receives a season fair pass and parking.
Donnette Carter, the CEO of the agricultural association and chief executive officer of the fair, commented, "We are excited to again ask our many friends of the San Benito County Fair to put on their creative thinking caps and help us come up with a great theme for 2015. The fair is all about local involvement, from exhibitors to entertainment, and volunteers to sponsors. Requesting theme ideas is just another way for us to engage those who value all that our local fair has to offer."
'Pigs, Pies and Paintings," suggested by local resident Lillian Casillas, was the theme for the 2014 San Benito County Fair.
